DUCHAS

Dúchas is a comprehensive resource book and multimedia resource developed for 2nd and 3rd-year students in Gaeltacht and Irish-medium post-primary schools.

It is the only resource which directly responds to the new Gaeilge T1 specification.

The resource includes over 75 lessons on a variety of topics. There is an array of language activities for students intended to: enrich their vocabulary, heighten their cultural and linguistic awareness, and to facilitate them on their learning journey.

There are many other activities especially designed to encourage shared discussion, critical analysis, and personal reflection of the literary components of the specification including: poetry, song, film, drama, short stories and novels.
